David Richards is a litigator with wide experience in federal and state court matters covering a broad array of legal issues. David has been practicing law for over fifty years and brings a wealth of knowledge and perspective in all types of dispute resolution. Although too extensive to enumerate here, examples of his areas of expertise include labor & employment, property rights, governmental bodies, and constitutional law. In addition to decades of private practice, David served as Executive Assistant Attorney General of Texas under Jim Mattox and general counsel to the AFL–CIO. David has handled several cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, including White v. Regester, 412 U.S. 755 (1973) and a number of cases in the Texas Supreme Court, including State v. Durham, 860 S.W.2d 63 (Tex. 1993).
